Midnight Madness Show Results

From Karen Walrath, Show Secretary:

I’d like to thank everyone who helped at the show, especially the writers and those who helped with the ear changes before the show. Without you, we couldn’t have a show! (Well, actually, exhibitors are nice too).

I’d like to especially think Sheila Scagnelli and her daughter Adrianne, who ran the PJ context during the first show. That was a fun thing for a lot of the younger exhibitors, as well as a welcome diversion for all.

For those of you who couldn’t stay until the bitter end, there are the results:

Show A Rabbit BISJim Bounakes with a NZ white Junior Doe.
Show A Rabbit RIS Marylouise Cowan with a ND Sable Marten Senior Doe.
Show A Cavy BIS Mary Anne & Al Chumra with an American Black SR Sow.
Show A Cavy RIS Georgette Fedunie with a Peruvian Agouti Senior Boar.

Jim Bounakes and Mary Anne & Al Chmura were presented with the ECR&CBA memorial award, with their names engraved on a static display kept in the barn.

Show B Rabbit BIS Jim Bounakes with a NZ White Junior Doe (a different one from Show A).
Show B Rabbit RIS Roger Laurion with a Mini Rex Broken Senior Doe.
Show B Cavy BIS Georgette Fedunie with a Silkie Broken Senior Sow.
Show B Cavy RIS Mary Anne & Al Chmura with an American Black Senior Sow.

The worst in Show B was won by a motley Mini Lop, whose owner will remain anonymous, but who is richer by a $25 gift card to Home Depot. This was judged by Paul Jurgelonis.

Hope to see you all at our Fair Show on October 4th. We will be mailing show information out shortly to the exhibitors in New England. As always, check our website www.ecrcba.org for more information. Our on-line entry system should be up on September 1st. My husband is re-designing it to make it easier to enter animals. Hopefully it will be ready by then.
